Thursday, 8:0010:00 PM Central Time
(6:008:00 PM Pacific, 9:0011:00 PM Eastern, and Friday at 0200 UTC)
August 21, 2008 (NOW PLAYING!): Meet the Night Owl himself, the incomparable Gene Steinberg, best-selling Mac author and columnist. Get to know Gene, and discover his unique, thought-provoking viewpoints about the technology universe, from Macs to consumer electronics.
On this week's all-star episode, we meet Daniel Lyons, sometimes known as "The Fake Steve Jobs," who recently wrote a collection of parodies about Apple's mercurial chief executive entitled "Options: The Secret Life of Steve Jobs."
You'll also get special Mac and iPhone update from prolific author Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus. You can expect to hear about the latest and greatest from Apple and some of the recent difficulties with the MobileMe launch and iPhone reception issues.
In addition, Rob Pegoraro, the personal technology columnist for the Washington Post, will be on hand to talk about the "opaque" Apple and whether they are mismanaging the process of communicating with their customers about ongoing problems.
PLEASE PATRONIZE OUR SPONSORS! Would you please tell them you heard their ads on The Tech Night Owl LIVE -- or The Mac Night Owl. Thanks.
